I just used hot and spicy BBQ sauce, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic paste, coconut oil, fish sauce, brown sugar, and tamarind pulp. This recipe is going to be your favorite one.  With the addition of tamarind pulp and BBQ sauce, this dish is worth it to make. I am sure you will enjoy making drumsticks for your whole family by following this unique and tempting recipe. So now let’s get it started.

Hot and Spicy Chicken DrumsticksIngredients:

1 ½ pound chicken drumsticks

1 cup BBQ sauce

3 tablespoons honey

4 tablespoons brown sugar

½ cup tamarind pulp

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 teaspoon ginger paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 tablespoons coconut oil

For Tamarind Sauce:

½ cup tamarind pulp

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon lime juice

Salt to taste

Directions:

  • In a large bowl add tamarind pulp, BBQ sauce, garlic paste, lime juice, fish sauce, honey, brown sugar, and coconut oil, mix well until brown sugar is dissolved.
  • Now add in chicken drumsticks and stir well to combine.
  • Cover bowl with a plastic sheet and place aside for 30-40 minutes.
  • Now heat your grill on hot coals or a campfire.
  • Brush grill with some cooking oil or butter.
  • Place drumstick on hot grills and leave to prepare for 4-5 minute preside.
  • Now turn the sides and brush drumsticks with remaining marinade (if any) and cook for 3-4 minutes. Cook until nicely cooked from both sides.
  • When done transfer to serving platter and serve hot.
  • Enjoy your delight.

For Making Tamarind Sauce:

  • Take a mixing bowl and add in tamarind pulp, lime juice, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir well until combined.
  • Serve with hot and spicy chicken drumsticks.
